My Crochet Journey

Both my mom and grandma crocheted all the time. At an early age I learned to crochet. There was always a crochet or sewing project going on in our home. Always a project near the sofa so when you set down was easy to pick it up and start where you left off

My grandma always told me that “crochet is an ancient art!” Well, she was not wrong. Crochet craft has been passed down for generation. I feel very blessed to have learned from such amazing crocheters.

Now, I started crocheting before there was internet. Yes, way back when. I would look at a crochet peace and make my own pattern. I learned to read my first crochet pattern in my early twenties. Filet and mosaic crochet intrigues me.

I crochet when I’m watching tv. That way I am still with my family and getting to visit with them. With a crochet hook in hand and skein of yarn I’m set for the evening.

I’m a crochet artist and designer. I started my business at an early age creating my designs and patterns.

Below are just a few items I have made. I do take orders if there anything you would like to have made.

When crocheting if gives me peace and helps me to reflect on my day. It reminds me of my mom and grandma. Crocheting gives me a sense of history and timelessness. The understanding that I can create something that could outlive me and develop a legacy for the next generation.
