Tailspin Farms is a family-owned and operated farm nestled in the quiet countryside near Stockdale, Texas. What started in 2009 as a leap of faith – fueled by family, love and a whole lot of hard work – has grown into the homestead and livestock operation we’re proud to call home.
Over the years we’ve raised and cared for full-blood and commercial cattle, along with a barnyard full of other beloved animals. Through trial, triumph, and more than a few muddy boats, we’ve learned what really works (and what definitely doesn’t) when it comes to livestock and country living.
That’s why we created this blog – to share the real-life lessons we’ve gathered, the joy we find in this lifestyle, and the deep love we have for our animals and this land. Every story, tip, and piece of advice you’ll find here comes straight from our own experiences, backed by the trusted guidance of expert veterinarians and seasoned mentors who’ve walked alongside us.
